Best Dressed at the Globes: Metallics and Purples were favourites on the red carpet

The Golden Globes were certainly filled with a few pleasant surprises and a few disappointments. I went to bed dreaming of A Single Man - possibly my favorite film of 2009 and the least recognized. The red carpet was demure. Black and creams (or pale pinks) were expected, but some actors switched it up with bold colours or metallics. Most notably purples and violets dominated the red carpet, such as Globe winner Sandra Bullock in Bottega Veneta.
